Moving from Housecall Pro

Bring your customers, price book and job history over in an afternoon. You see everything before it’s saved, and any import can be undone.

To move from Housecall Pro to PipedHQ, export your customers, price book and jobs from Housecall Pro as CSV files, then import them in PipedHQ under More → Import, customers first. PipedHQ previews every record before saving, merges duplicates, and lets you undo any import. You keep your business phone number by forwarding it.

1. Export from Housecall Pro

  1. In Housecall Pro, open the Customers page and use Export to download your customer list as a CSV.
  2. Export your price book the same way.
  3. Export your jobs if you want your job history.

Menu names change from time to time. If you can’t find Export, check Housecall Pro’s help center under exporting data.

2. Import into PipedHQ

  1. Open More → Import and choose Housecall Pro.
  2. Bring the files in one at a time: customers first, then price book, then jobs.
  3. Check the column matching; you can change any match.
  4. Review the preview before anything is saved; duplicates are merged, not doubled.
  5. Import. If something looks wrong, undo it and try again.

3. Switch over without missing a call

  • Phone: forward your business number to PipedHQ and start with 14 days of dry run.
  • Open invoices: finish collecting what’s already out in Housecall Pro; send new invoices from PipedHQ.
  • QuickBooks: connect QuickBooks Online in PipedHQ once you stop syncing from Housecall Pro.

Questions

Do I have to start over if I leave Housecall Pro?

No. Export your customers, price book and past jobs from Housecall Pro as CSV files and import them into PipedHQ. You see exactly what will happen before anything is saved, duplicates are merged instead of doubled, and any import can be undone.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You forward your existing business number to PipedHQ.
